It’s ironic that this is the first picture we get to see of Britney Spears reprising her role as Abby, a receptionist at a dermatologist’s office, on the hit CBS comedy ‘How I Met Your Mother’. Wasn’t Neil Patrick Harris the one who said that he’d rather not have her back? In a statement made on Monday Brit said “I had such a great experience the last time I was on the show that I couldn’t wait to come back. I was really looking forward to working with this cast and crew again. Everyone was so nice. Abby is going to have a lot of fun!” The episode featuring the recovering starlet entitled ‘Everything Must Go’ airs on Monday, May 12th.

American Idol Stripper Scandal

The nudity police strike again at American Idol. Seems we can’t get a Top 24 that doesn’t have at least one member who has shed her clothing at some point.

But here’s the shocker - this time, it’s a guy! Apparently David Hernandez spent some time as a male stripper in Glendale, Arizona, at a place called Dick’s Cabaret. He appeared fully nude and gave lap dances to the clientele - which is made up primarily of men.

Of course, this also sparks rumors of homosexuality for David Hernandez. No response from anyone on his side, yet. We’ll see if this affects his Idol run this week since he was a frontrunner last week.

Amy Winehouse avoiding Blake

Some welcome relief for Amy Winehouse - she will NOT face charges connected to jailed hubby Blake’s upcoming court case over alleged assault and perverting the course of justice. The Grammy-winner voluntarily attended a police station in December. And now authorities have said no further action will be taken against her.

Meanwhile, her hubby had his first big day in court without Amy present. Having attended all his court appearances so far, Amy swerved this latest one where he pleaded not guilty.

Instead, she spent the day packing for her flight to Paris Fashion Week, where she is being paid 1,000,000 to appear at Louis Vuitton’s show.

The 26-year-old singer became convinced Adnan Ghalib had cheated on her when she discovered the series of raunchy texts and threw the snapper’s £300 iPhone into her pool at her Hollywood Hills home before ordering him to leave.

A source said: “There were about a dozen text messages from one girl, all sent on one day. They were pretty saucy stuff with sexual references - certainly not the sort you’d send to just a friend.

“Britney lost it and started yelling. She was demanding to know who sent the texts and shouting, ‘What’s this about? You’re cheating on me.’

He was once linked to Britney Spears and it seems that American Idol contestant Robbie Carrico picked up one of the fallen pop star’s habits – wearing wigs. It is being said that the 26-year old long-haired wannabe’s hair is actually a wig and it’s got Idol execs flipping out. Sources say that Robbie never talks about his hair piece and that makes production members feel like it’s the pink elephant, or I should say blonde elephant, in the room. It seems that Simon was right, he is a fake. Fortunately, no one has to see that hideous mane again as Robbie was voted off at this week’s elimination.

Something is looking up for Britney Spears at last – the troubled pop star has been voted one of Playboy magazine’s 25 Sexiest Celebrities.

The ‘Toxic’ singer has joined the likes of Beyonce Knowles, Angelina Jolie, Eva Mendes, Cameron Diaz, Jessica Alba and Scarlett Johansson on the list, named online by readers of the men’s publication.

Other stars on the list include Alicia Keys, Rose MCGowan, Denise Richards, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Pamela Anderson and Carmen Electra.

Christina Aguilera has a lot to celebrate about. On Tuesday, the singer celebrated her birthday with her husband Jordan Bratman in West Hollywood. They were spotted just as they were leaving Houston’s restaurant where they celebrated with friends.Come January 10, 2008, the 27-year old Christina will have more to celebrate when she gives birth via C-section. She’s reportedly narrowed down the names for her baby boy to Jackson, Jake or Max. She’s also requested an enlarged version of her November cover of Marie Claire which has her nude and showing off her baby bump. That’s a very high-end memento.

Lily Allen expecting

Hurray some more happy news! Not a wedding; even better. We can expect the arrival of another celebrity rugrat – this time courtesy of Lily Allen and boyfriend Ed Simons.

This will be the couple’s first child and they are all smiles. A source close to the singer said: “Lily is thrilled to be pregnant and can’t wait to become a mum. She’s a real family person. Ed’s very happy. He is really looking after her.”

Though the couple haven’t been together very long. 22-year-old Lily and Chemical Brother’s singer Ed, who is 15 years her senior, have only been dating since September. But they plan to set up home together and seem to be very pleased.

Spice Girls Reunion Returns Home

And they’re back….again….at home.

It was an early Christmas present for many fans as the Spice Girls took the stage in London for the first time since 1998. And it was especially exciting since Emma Bunton, a.k.a. Baby Spice, had to limp through the dance routines.

Just Wednesday, Emma was hobbling around on crutches after having injured her ankle in their Las Vegas show on December 10. By the concert, though, she’d put the crutches down, even though she wasn’t 100% healed. A rep for the group said, “They have had to rework some of the dance routines because of Emma’s ankle. She wanted to do the show. It is her hometown.”

Since becoming pregnant I have come across many celeb pregnancies; and here is another one. Let’s give huge congratulations to the Sin City beauty; Jessica Alba. It was revealed this week that she and her boyfriend, Cash Warren, are expecting their first child.

The couple have been dating since 2004 and are said to expect the arrival of the little bundle in the late spring, early summer.

Jessica joins Halle Berry, Nicole Richie and Jennifer Lopez; to name but a few; who announced that they are expecting this year.

Amy Winehouse Dad quashes Suicide rumours

Amy Winehouse was said to have made a suicide pact with hubby Blake after being implicated in the bribery plot to set him loose. But her father says that’s a load of rubbish, saying she is on the road to recovery and would never consider doing such a thing.

Does he read the papers and see the photos? There have been so many ‘White Christmas’ puns linked to photographs of Amy obviously out of it recently are we really supposed to believe she is on the mend?

There is a quote from Scotland Yard that states, “We have no evidence against Amy being involved in any crime. If we had she would have been arrested straight away. But we do want to talk to her about matters, particularly financial ones, which may be important in this case”

Ever since Britney Spears got into the heated custody battle for her sons, the Four Seasons Hotel became her second home. But it seems that the management may be fed up with the pop wreck’s constant drama because they actually denied her from entering the parking garage last night. See! Some people still have sense.

Britney rolled up to the garage in her white convertible where she was repeatedly told “You’re not authorized to come in here”. The baffled pop star then pulled a smooth 8-point turn and exclaimed “Party at my house tonight” before heading over to the front entrance.

Amy Winehouse was spotted as she was fixing herself up on Thursday. She almost flashed some paparazzi as she adjusted her high heels on her way to visit her husband Blake Fielder-Civil in prison in London, England on Thursday. The troubled singer was also seen applying her make up and holding up a vanity mirror during the car ride. Maybe that’s the reason for her excuse of a made up face.

Blake is currently being held at Pentonville Prison after assaulting a man and allegedly bribing him to change his story. Amy was brought in for questioning regarding the alleged bribery. Classy.

David Beckham Second Career?

Turns out that if football superhero David Beckham ever needs a new career option; he could choose Domestic Assistant – cleaner to you and me.

Apparently his obsessive vacuuming of his home drives wife Victoria crazy; as well as making his carpets look like the Wembley pitch.

He says, “ I have to have everything in the right place and Victoria finds it very annoying. In our house in Spain we used to have this big rug that you could Hoover in perfect lines, like Wembley. She used to catch me doing that after the kids had gone to bed”

Add that behaviour to having his drinks cans lined up in perfect order in the fridge and we have the ultimate neat freak.

Jamie Lynn’s Pregnancy

Britney Spears’ 16-year old sister Jamie Lynn went on the record with OK! magazine saying that she is 12 weeks pregnant. But according to TMZ, that’s not the case. The site says that Jamie is further along than 12 weeks and for us to expect a spring baby. Was The National Enquirer right after all? They reported that Jamie Lynn was pregnant on July 28th.

If she had found out a few weeks before then, that would put her around the five month mark. Britney may become an aunt come this spring! We need new pics of Jamie Lynn and fast!

Britney Spears’ Behaviour could end in Suicide

Troubled singer Britney Spears’ illusive behavior could lead her to commit suicide, a Beverly Hills analyst and addiction expert has warned.

Marty Brenner said that the 26-year-old star is living in a “bubble of illusion” which “could end in suicide” if she doesn’t get help.

“She’s losing it now, and she’s going to eventually lose it altogether if she doesn’t get the help she needs,” the New York Post quoted Brenner, as saying.

Though Brenner has not treated Spears, he thinks that the singer’s wacky weekend in Los Angeles, where she made numerous gas station bathroom stops and hooked up with a member of the paparazzi, was an extension of her psychological problem.

“She’s exhibiting bipolar signs and she’s clearly fighting depression,” claimed Brenner.

The troubled mother of two had her antics showcased on TV when she went on a busy road to snap a photo of a mural and got miffed when photographers refused to move out of her way.

Brenner insisted that this might be Britney’s latest ploy for gaining attention after her 16-year-old sister Jamie Lynn’s announced her pregnancy.

“Britney now needs to cry out for even more attention. She’s really going for it . . . no one stops to pee that many times. She has a major problem,” he said.

Paris Hilton not to benefit from the Hilton fortune

The ‘heiress’ tag that comes with Paris Hilton may soon lose its weight, with the socialite’s grandfather having decided to give 97 per cent of his multibillion dollar fortune to charity.

Barron Hilton, whose net worth is currently estimated at 2.3 billion dollars, is reported to be unhappy with Paris’ lifestyle, and has announced that he would donate most of his wealth to the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation, named after his father who founded the Hilton hotel chain in 1919.

The foundation said that its chairman would place 1.2 billion dollars from the sale of Hilton Hotels Corporation and the pending sale of Harrah’s Entertainment into a charitable trust to benefit the organization.

However, the decision is unlikely to hurt Paris financially, because of her own business ventures that are said to be very profitable.

Hanna Montana & Miley Cyrus Gets Sued

Everybody loves Hanna Montana’s Miley Cyrus right? If you’re part of the 99.9% that think so, well, you happen to be wrong. Miley is actually being sued by a fan for failing to make tickets available to upcoming concerts.

Kerry Inman of Pennsville, New Jersey says that she paid almost $30 to Miley’s official website which promised to make seats available to members before tickets went on sale to the general public. The $5 million class action lawsuit alleges that Interactive Media Marketing and Smiley Miley, Inc. were ‘unfair and deceptive’.

Reps for Miley say that an opportunity to purchase pre-sale tickets is one of the benefits of membership to the singer’s website but it’s no guarantee of actually obtaining a ticket especially if there are over 70,000 members.
